Dr. Miriam Kanter | Medical Doctor
Dr Miriam Kanter is a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist and certified acupuncturist. She graduated from medical school at Tel Aviv University, completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Einstein hospitals in New York, and received acupuncture training at the Helms Institute for Medical Acupuncture.
She works with her team of doctors and physical therapists to treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including chronic pain in the neck, back, shoulders and knees, athletic injuries, and acute pain following traumatic injury.
Dr Kanter also provides electrodiagnostic testing for diagnosing and alleviating radiating nerve pain. Her clinic utilizes the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques, including ultrasound guided joint and trigger point (muscle) injections, as well as viscosupplementation (gel cushioning) injections for the knees
Dr. Nitin Narkhede | Medical Doctor
Dr. Nitin Narkhede has been in practice in the field of medicine for over 35 years. He graduated from Mahadeappa Rampur Medical College in India, and then completed a medical residency at Long Island College Hospital. Dr Narkhede has been focusing his practice in musculoskeletal medicine and rehabilitation since 1996.
Dr. Alexander Gimpelevich | Medical Doctor
Dr Alexander Gimpelevich was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in 1989. He earned his doctorate in Osteopathy from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He has extensive experience in treating
athletic, traumatic, and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. He utilizes many treatment modalities, including pharmacological approaches, injection techniques, and osteopathic manipulative therapy. He enjoys helping to relieve pain as well as helping to guide his patient's return to their exercise routine and other regular activities.
